About the Club

Redcar Borough Park Bowling Club offers outdoor and indoor bowls beside Redcar Racecourse. The club has two outdoor greens and a four-rink indoor hall, providing opportunities for social play and league competition throughout the year. Founded in 1926, it celebrated its centenary with a Bowls England match in July 2026. Members also use the clubhouse bar and enjoy social events. Access is via Thwaites Lane off Redcar Lane, following signs for the racecourse main car park. The public telephone is the club number; membership enquiries by email go to Membership Officer Wendy Pickard.
