About the Club

Smith's Dock Bowling Club was established in 1920 as part of the shipbuilders' sports facilities and is now a self-funding club in Normanby. Its two outdoor grass greens sit beside the club pavilions at Skippers Lane. Beginners and experienced bowlers are welcome, and the club runs league bowls and its own competitions. The pavilion has a kitchen and toilets. Access is along the lane beside the closed Smith Dock Inn, through the car park and along the path towards the park to the blue entrance gate.
