About the Club

Somersham Town Bowls Club was founded in 1921 and welcomes players of all ages and abilities, including complete beginners. Its six-rink grass green supports roll-ups, friendly matches, club and county competitions, and men's and ladies' league bowling. New players can try bowls before joining, with club bowls available and coaching enquiries welcomed. The clubhouse has a kitchen, bar, dining and seating areas, with parking for members and visitors. The green is seasonally closed until March/April 2027, while clubhouse social activities continue through winter. Contact honorary secretary Joy Kent for current arrangements.
