About the Club

Starcross & District Bowling Club was founded in 1922 and has occupied its Bonhay Road site since 1936. Summer lawn bowls combines league competition, internal events, friendly games and touring sides, with qualified coaches available to help new bowlers. Its grass green can accommodate up to seven rinks in either direction. The clubhouse, completed in 1998, includes a kitchen and bar and was designed for two full-length short mats, supporting winter bowls on site. Social functions keep the clubhouse in use throughout the year. Parking near the club is limited, with other public parking nearby.
