Manage this club?Steeple Bumpstead Bowls Club was founded in 1936 and plays at The Brickle on Hempstead Road, on the outskirts of the village. Its grass green has six rinks, with a purpose-built clubhouse and licensed bar beside it. Members take part in the Steeple Bumpstead and North West Essex leagues, alongside club competitions and social functions. Tuesday evening is club night, and coaching is available for new and existing members. During winter, the clubhouse hosts carpet bowls. The club hosted the North West Essex association's knockout finals in September 2026. Contact secretary and coach Jim Girvan to arrange a visit.
