Umhlanga Bowling Club

Umhlanga Bowling Club in the premier holiday resort of Umhlanga in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa is part of The Umhlanga Country Club.  The Bowling Club Established in 1965 had in September 2016 moved to our new premises with our own NEW Club House and 2 greens, 1 with flood lights.

We have three teams in the Port Natal Inter Club League and regularly travel to participate in district and national competitions.  We encourage visitors to come and try their hand at this challenging but fun game which is suitable for all ages regardless of fitness.

Our dedicated coaches are available with club bowls to introduce you to this wonderful game, contact us to book an hour at no charge. All Coaching by appointment.

Bowling Club Annual subscription fee R2,400 includes affiliation fees to Bowls South Africa and Port Natal Bowls, all social green fees, teas and Club competitions, 1 July to 30 June each year.

We share the area with the Ski Boat Club with their own club house and the Tennis Club with 4 courts, 2 of which have flood lights.  Visitors are welcome to come and hit a few ball regardless of skill.  The onsite restaurant serves fresh fish caught by the Ski Boats on weekends, conditions permitting, together with freshly prepared seafood, burgers, toasted sandwiches and snacks.
