Victoria Bowling Club

A very accessible Victoria Bowling Club boasts a superb outdoor bowling green, an indoor bowling rink, snooker tables, a skittle alley and a very comfortable lounge bar – right in the heart of Weston-super-Mare!

During the summer months the Club arrange Mens, Ladies and Mixed outdoor games against other clubs.

Men’s teams play in the Somerset County League, the Weston and District Over 60′s Triples League, North Somerset Bowling Association Knock Out cup as well as County and National cup competitions.

The Ladies’ teams play in the Mendip Triples league, Wessex League and the Weston and District Ladies league as well as County League and County and National cup competitions.

Numerous friendly games are organised for Men, Ladies and Mixed teams against local clubs and clubs in South Wales, Gloucester and Worcester we also play against touring clubs from around the Country.

The Club also hold members’ sessions, called Umbrellas, for the Men on Monday evenings, Ladies on Tuesday afternoons and Mixed on Friday afternoon and Club Competitions are played during the season culminating in a finals weekend in September.

In the winter, October to March, we take advantage of our single indoor rink where internal matches and games against other clubs take place.

Our two full sized snooker tables are used by our Full Bowling members and also our Snooker members.

Our qualified Bowling Coaches are always ready to welcome, assist and develop those wishing to begin playing bowls as well as any Bowler who would like a little help and encouragement to improve.

On Saturday mornings during April and early May Open mornings are held where you are welcome to come along and bowl. We will be happy to provide the bowls and the tuition.
