West Mersea Bowls Club

West Mersea Bowls Club offers outdoor bowling from April to September and indoor bowling throughout the year. Its facilities include a six-rink outdoor green, a three-rink indoor green, a licensed clubhouse and private parking. Beginners can receive individual tuition from qualified coaches and borrow equipment, while members can enjoy roll-ups, friendly fixtures, leagues and competitions. The lounge can be hired by club members, with bar service and catering available. Visitors should contact the club before coming and check tide times, as high water can temporarily close the Strood road onto Mersea Island.
