About the Club

Wivenhoe Bowls Club was founded in 1926 and has played at its Woodland Way grounds since 1934. The outdoor season runs from April to September, with leagues and competitions against clubs across Tendring, Colchester and Essex, alongside social roll-ups and internal events. Its clubhouse includes a large kitchen, lounge and bar, with a large car park on site. Winter social activities include short mat bowls in the clubhouse. Families and non-playing members are welcome to watch matches and join social events. Contact the club by phone or email for membership information.
