About the Club

York & District Indoor Bowls Club boasts some of the most impressive facilities at any club in the UK. Not only are we the largest indoor club in the Yorkshire area, but have excellent facilities for playing, viewing & socialising.

Bowls is a superb way to enjoy sport and be active and social for all ages, old, young and all abilities a like.

York & District Indoor Bowls Club was purpose built and opened on the 5th March 1973, with a 6 rink green, thanks to the drive and commitment of the founding members, led by a steering committee.
