🏆 2026 National Championships Showcase the Best of Scottish Bowls 🏆

What a week in Ayr! The 2026 Bowls Scotland National Championships brought together the very best of our sport, with over 1,250 player places filled, 300+ clubs represented and an incredible 15,000 spectators attending the National Centre for Bowling across eight unforgettable days.

From youth and para events to senior and open championships, the event celebrated everything that makes Scottish bowls special. Finals Day saw Iain McLean make history by securing a third consecutive and fifth Gents Singles title, while Emma MacLeod successfully defended her Ladies Singles crown.

With live coverage throughout the week, BBC broadcast finals, record attendances, fantastic support from volunteers, officials, sponsors and spectators, the Championships demonstrated the strength, diversity and community spirit of bowls in Scotland.
