Last week’s scenario was: Aiming to take the jack into the ditch, Skip of team ‘A’ plays a weighted shot. The shot displaces a bowl in the head and whilst in motion that bowl is displaced again by the rebounding delivered bowl from the face of the bank. Team ‘A’ Skip wants the displaced bowl to be placed where it would have come to rest. Skip of team ‘B’ wants to declare the end dead. The Umpire is called for a decision.
The Umpire’s decision would be: Displacement of a bowl in motion. If a bowl in motion is displaced by a non-toucher rebounding from the face of the bank, the skips or opponents in Singles must put the displaced bowl where they believe it would have come to rest. If they cannot agree on the bowl’s final position, the end must be declared dead. Law 37.5.2

Le scénario de la semaine dernière était le suivant : Dans le but de faire tomber le cochonnet dans le fossé, le capitaine de l’équipe A effectue un tir plombé. Le coup déplace une boule dans la tête et, alors qu’elle est en mouvement, cette boule est à nouveau déplacée par la boule qui rebondit sur le côté du talus. Le capitaine de l’équipe A veut que la boule déplacée soit replacée là où elle se serait immobilisée. Le capitaine de l’équipe B veut déclarer la boule hors-jeu. L’arbitre est appelé à prendre une décision.
La décision de l’arbitre serait la suivante : Déplacement d’une boule en mouvement.
Si une boule en mouvement est déplacée par une boule non toucheuse qui rebondit sur le côté du talus, les capitaines ou les adversaires en simple doivent replacer la boule déplacée là où ils pensent qu’elle aurait dû s’arrêter. S’ils ne parviennent pas à se mettre d’accord sur la position finale de la boule, le bout doit être déclaré hors-jeu. Règlement 37.5.2
