Brilliant Burbage enjoy Bowls’ Big Weekend bonanza

Bowls’ Big Weekend 2022 showcased our sport to thousands of newcomers, and Burbage Crusaders BC took full advantage of the opportunity.

Our national initiative provided the chance for friends and family to give bowls a go. Up and down the country, over 750 Bowls England affiliated bowls clubs opened their doors to people who want to try a new sport, have some fun and meet new people.

We headed to Burbage to chat to those trying our sport for the first time, with @Team England star Jamie-Lea Winch on hand to offer her advice along with many club volunteers.
