Chris Flavel announces retirement from Australian Para Jackaroos

Chris Flavel has announced his retirement from the Australian Para Jackaroos after nine years and 85 international caps, Bowls Australia reported on 2 November.

The South Australian leaves an international career that included a Commonwealth Games silver medal. Bowls Australia thanked him for his contribution to the national para team.

Flavel plans to remain involved in the sport and hopes to help develop junior and para bowlers in South Australia.
