Welcome to Club Life, a monthly series from Bowls England, looking at some great stories from affiliated clubs.

Ahead of the inaugural Bowls England Awards Night in February, where we will focus on the grassroots of lawn bowls, this third edition visits Goodwood Bowls Club in Leicester. This club won the Club of the Year award in 2005, and is famed for its sociable, friendly approach to the sport.
