COMMONWEALTH GAMES DAY 5 WRAP

History was made during an electric morning at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games as the first-ever indoor bowls and para bowls medals in Games history were awarded.

Host nation Scotland claimed gold in the Para Mixed Pairs B2/B3, while England celebrated a golden double through Sam Tolchard in the Men’s Singles and Amy Pharaoh and Sian Honnor in the Women’s Pairs.

Northern Ireland secured two bronze medals through Gary Kelly in the Men’s Singles and Chloe Wilson and Shauna O’Neill in the Women’s Pairs, while Wales claimed bronze in the Para Mixed Pairs B2/B3.

Play also began in the Women’s Singles, Men’s Pairs, Para Men’s Pairs and Para Women’s Pairs.
