Counties help shape proposals for merged England Bowls governing body
County Association delegates discussed plans for England Bowls at the 2026 Bowls England Counties Conference, helping shape the proposed merger of the indoor and outdoor flat green governing bodies.
Discussions covered voting arrangements, affiliation and proposed Regional Development Hubs. Bowls England says feedback will be used to refine the proposals alongside wider consultation.
The report says no changes are planned to outdoor affiliation structure and pricing in the coming years, while a unified central affiliation system is proposed for 2029. These remain part of the merger planning process.
