A strong Day 2 performance from the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games squad resulted in a 46-29 victory over a very competitive BowlsWales team. England came out on top in the Men’s Singles, Men’s Pairs, Women’s Pairs and B2-B3 VI Mixed Pairs.
12 matches over the weekend were decided on a one-end tiebreaker, proving how crucial it will be in Glasgow to hold the nerves when every bowl matters. Keep an eye out tomorrow for full report on the weekend.
It was also great to see the team getting support from Bowls England Vice President Paul Green, who travelled to Newport IBC to cheer them on.
