From the first bowl to the last, Team Canada gave it everything at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. 🇨🇦

Our athletes delivered incredible shots, thrilling finishes and moments that kept us on the edge of our seats. They also made history, with Anne Hibberd and Jean Stairs becoming Canada’s first Para Women’s Pair to compete in the B6–B8 event at a Commonwealth Games.

While Canada may be leaving Glasgow without a medal, there is so much to be proud of. Every athlete competed with determination, resilience and pride, representing Canada and our bowls community with distinction on the international stage.

Thank you to our athletes, coaches and team support staff for your commitment throughout these Games. And thank you to the families, friends and supporters….at home and in Glasgow…..who cheered, encouraged and believed in Team Canada every step of the way.

De la première à la dernière pierre, l’équipe canadienne a tout donné aux Jeux du Commonwealth de 2026. 🇨🇦

Nos athlètes ont réalisé des lancers incroyables, offert des fins de match palpitantes et créé des moments qui nous ont tenus en haleine. Ils sont également entrés dans l’histoire : Anne Hibberd et Jean Stairs sont devenues la première paire féminine para canadienne à participer à l’épreuve B6–B8 lors des Jeux du Commonwealth.

Même si le Canada quitte Glasgow sans médaille, nous avons de nombreuses raisons d’être fiers. Chaque athlète a concouru avec détermination, résilience et fierté, représentant le Canada et notre communauté de boulingue avec distinction sur la scène internationale.

Merci à nos athlètes, à nos entraîneurs et au personnel de soutien de l’équipe pour votre engagement tout au long de ces Jeux. Et merci aux familles, aux amis et aux partisans…tant au Canada qu’à Glasgow…qui ont applaudi, encouragé et cru en Équipe Canada à chaque étape du parcours.
