Kristina van Nierop announces international retirement after 191 caps

Kristina van Nierop has announced her retirement from international duties with the Australian Jackaroos after 11 years and 191 appearances.
The Western Australian made her international debut in Hong Kong in 2015. A highlight of her career was winning the women’s pairs gold medal with Ellen Fife at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Bowls Australia says van Nierop is stepping away from international commitments to focus on life at home in Perth, and has thanked her for her contribution to the national team.
