Looking back at Glasgow 2026, some of the most interesting stories sit beyond the final results.

Nine nations made their way onto the bowls and para bowls medal table, while the athletes themselves ranged from just 17 years old through to 76 – a pretty unique spread to see competing at the same international event.

And with timeouts and the shot clock introduced to the Games, Glasgow gave us the first opportunity to see how those new elements would play out across an entire Commonwealth Games competition.
