Meet Commonwealth Games Athlete Ryan Bester as he prepares to compete in his 7th Commonwealth Games!!
Representing Canada in Glasgow next month, Ryan will compete in both the Singles and Pairs disciplines, adding another chapter to an already remarkable international career.
From 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022, to now stepping onto the Commonwealth stage once again in 2026, Ryan’s seven appearances reflect more than two decades of dedication, consistency, and excellence in Canadian bowls.
For Ryan, the Commonwealth Games are among the sport’s highest honours — bringing together world-class competition and an opportunity to showcase bowls on a global stage.
