From coaching juniors to strengthening competitive and social play, Alex Cathie has dedicated years of service to supporting bowls at every level.

The Coylton Bowling Club 2020 volunteer has been recognised as the latest winner of the Bowls Scotland National Volunteer Awards for his outstanding contribution to the club and his continued dedication to supporting the sport both on and off the green. 👏

Having been involved in bowls since the age of 14, Alex has given his time to the sport through club volunteering, coaching and his role as Match Secretary, helping support new members to get involved and enjoy the game.
