The latest winner of the Bowls Scotland National Volunteer Awards is Scott Wilson from Westermains Bowling Club.
“There is no better feeling than seeing your hard work paying off.”
Scott has been recognised for his outstanding dedication to Westermains BC, where he contributes as Treasurer, Green Convenor, Umpire, joint Gents Match Secretary, bar volunteer and regular playing member.
His efforts have helped the club move from a challenging period, with fewer than 30 members and talks of closure, to now having over 80 members and thriving once again.
