The Gold medal matches taking place later today will feature some very special guests, who will head onto the rink to perform the ceremonial toss using the new World Bowls coin.

Men’s Pairs:
Dr. Giulia Gallo has recently been appointed to the Board of World Bowls. Giulia is a global AI expert, has represented Team USA Bowls and is involved in the establishment of Bowls Italy.

Para Women’s Pairs:
Mr Yaw Ampofo Ankrah is the Director General of the National Sports Authority of Ghana. He is a former sports anchor for the BBC. Charles Obeng Amofah is the President of the Ghana Bowls Federation, one of the newest World Bowls members.

Para Men’s Pairs:
Tom Hamilton is from Scotland and represents the World Bowls Para Committee on the World Bowls Board, having been instrumental in the merger with International Bowls for the Disabled.

Women’s Singles:
Sandra McLeish is the President of Bowls Scotland and a former Scottish representative and high performance team member, and a World Bowls Tour official.
