👏 Three qualification play-off places secured for Scotland on Day Three of the European Championships!

Leah McCloy was beaten 21-12 by the Netherlands but finishes second in Women’s Singles Group B. She will face the winner of Isle of Man v Guernsey tomorrow.

The Men’s Pairs required an eight-shot victory over Portugal to progress and delivered exactly that. Leading 14-9 on the final end, Greg produced a superb bowl to secure the three shots needed and complete a dramatic 17-9 win.

The Men’s Triples also finished second in their section following a dominant 27-3 victory over Hungary.

There was more final-end drama for the Women’s Fours, who trailed Spain by four shots before scoring a five to win 11-10! They remain in contention for direct semi-final qualification and face Switzerland in their final group match at 9am tomorrow.
