We are absolutely delighted to share that Welsh bowls legend Anwen Butten MBE has been inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame! 🏆

Announced last night at the Team Wales send-off ahead of Glasgow 2026, it’s a fitting tribute to one of our sport’s greatest ever figures.

Six Commonwealth Games. Two bronze medals. World Championship gold. The first bowler ever to captain all of Team Wales. And an MBE to boot.

Anwen Butten — you have given everything to Welsh bowls, on the green and behind the scenes. This is so very well deserved.
