1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using LawnBowls.com you agree to these Terms of Use and the policies linked below. You must be at least 13 and able to enter a binding agreement, or use the service with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian.

2. Accounts

Provide accurate information, keep your login secure and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate a person or club, create deceptive accounts, or transfer access in a way that compromises the service.

3. Directory information

Club, tournament, Social Bowls, facility, distance and contact information may be submitted by users, clubs or public sources and may change without notice. Check important details directly with the relevant club before travelling, entering or paying. LawnBowls.com is a directory and is not the organiser of a listed activity unless expressly stated.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant LawnBowls.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, format, display and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, improve and promote the LawnBowls.com services and the relevant club or event. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for reasonable backup, legal and evidentiary retention and material already shared as part of the service.

You promise that you own the content or have all necessary permission to submit it; that identifiable people have consented where required; and that the content and our permitted use will not infringe another person's rights. Attribution alone does not establish permission to use an image.

5. Acceptable use

Do not submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, malicious or spam content. Do not scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer or bypass security or access controls; manipulate reviews or engagement; harvest personal information; or use the service to mislead users.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, restrict, remove, correct or decline content and may warn, suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or clubs, address legal concerns or keep the service accurate and safe. We are not required to pre-screen every submission. Users can report reviews and content, and clubs can contact us about their listings.

7. Copyright and intellectual property

The LawnBowls.com name, design and original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, logos, flyers and images remain the property of their respective owners. Our Copyright & Content Policy explains contributor responsibilities and how to submit a removal request.

8. Third-party services

The service may link to clubs, map providers, payment services, social networks or other third parties. Their services and terms are separate, and LawnBowls.com is not responsible for third-party content, availability or transactions.

9. Availability, warranties and liability

We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every listing or user submission is complete, current or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawnBowls.com is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or reliance on third-party listings. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Suspension, deletion and changes

You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches, legal or security risks, or discontinuation of a feature. We may update these terms as the platform changes; material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, a notice.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. Please use our Contact Us page with questions.
