Adastra Bowls Club

Adastra Bowls Club has played in Hassocks since 1922 and welcomes new and experienced bowlers to its grass green in Adastra Park. The outdoor season runs from late April to late September, with mixed friendly matches, leagues, club competitions and informal social bowling. Qualified coaches provide free courses for members, and bowls in a range of sizes are available for newcomers to borrow. The pavilion has a small licensed bar and catering facilities, with social activities continuing during the winter. Access Orchard Lane from Grand Avenue; the route from Keymer Road is blocked. A large free car park is beside the green. The clubhouse phone is answered only when the clubhouse is in use.
