About the Club

Arclight Bowls Club is a mixed lawn bowls club at West End Sports Ground in Eudo Road, Colchester. Founded in 1946 as a works club, it now welcomes beginners, social players and experienced competitors. The outdoor season runs from late April to September, with league fixtures, friendly matches, club competitions and social bowling. New players can borrow club bowls and receive tuition, while a buddy scheme offers guidance during their first season. The club has parking and a licensed bar, with enquiries welcome throughout the year.
