About the Club

Ashburton Park Bowling Club serves Addiscombe, Woodside and East Croydon from its parkland ground off Lower Addiscombe Road. Members play summer lawn bowls on an outdoor grass green, with a traditional pavilion for refreshments and conversation. The programme includes Croydon Area Bowls League fixtures, local team knockout competitions and opportunities for individual competitions. Beginners can try the game free and choose pay-as-you-go bowling before committing to membership. Club members help newcomers learn and also contribute to maintaining the grounds. A car park is reached from Tenterden Road. Contact secretary Peter Mason to arrange a visit.
