About the Club

Founded in 1901, Babbacombe Bowling Club plays at the corner of Cary Avenue and Aveland Road in Torquay. Its outdoor grass green accommodates up to seven rinks for visiting touring teams, alongside friendly matches, leagues and club competitions. New players can ask about free coaching and taster sessions, while social members and spectators are welcome. The wheelchair-accessible clubhouse includes a licensed bar and equipped kitchen. Winter activity continues with short-mat bowls in the clubhouse, plus coffee mornings, whist and quiz evenings. Roadside parking is available around the grounds.
