About the Club

Bassingham Bowls Club was founded in 1947 and is affiliated to the English Bowling Federation. Its six-rink outdoor green and clubhouse are on the village playing fields beside the village hall, with parking available. During summer, members can enjoy social bowling throughout the week as well as afternoon and evening league matches and internal competitions. New players are welcome, and recent club activities have introduced local children to the game. The clubhouse overlooks the green and supports the social side of club life. In autumn and winter, some members also play at Lincoln & District Indoor Bowling Club. Membership enquiries go to secretary Niki Gan.
