Bishop Auckland Bowling Club

Bishop Auckland Bowling Club is a community club with more than a century of local history. It plays outdoor grass bowls at the Town Recreation Ground, beside the tennis courts and park facilities. The club welcomes interest from new and returning players, with opportunities to learn the game alongside experienced members. Its activities combine recreational bowling with league play, and the club has worked with Move County Durham to introduce newcomers through a short course. Contact the club before visiting to confirm current membership, introductory sessions and playing arrangements.
