About the Club

Bishop's Stortford Bowling Club was founded in 1903 and moved to its present site off Beldams Lane in 2008. The club has a seven-rink grass green for the outdoor season and a seven-rink artificial green used through the winter and by beginners. Its pavilion includes changing rooms, a licensed bar and a kitchen, with parking on site. Players range from complete beginners to competitive bowlers, and in-house coaches offer help to new and experienced members. A winter social programme complements bowling, and prospective members can enquire through the club secretary.
