About the Club

Bookham Bowling Club was founded in 1933 and plays at Chrystie Recreation Ground in Great Bookham. Its outdoor grass green supports a programme of mens, ladies and mixed friendly matches, club competitions, and national and Surrey county events. Members can also enjoy informal social bowling afternoons and evenings. Newcomers can take a series of introductory coaching sessions before deciding whether to join, and junior and social membership options are available. Weekly darts and other social events take place in the pavilion. The club also runs winter short mat at the separate Old Barn Hall. Parking is available beside the recreation ground.
