About the Club

Bovingdon Bowls Club offers year-round outdoor bowling on an all-weather green in the heart of the village. Founded in 1952, it combines friendly matches with county and district competitions, including winter leagues that welcome neighbouring clubs. New bowlers can attend advertised taster sessions and receive support from experienced members. The clubhouse has a well-stocked bar, with social events throughout the year including bingo, quizzes, live music and summer barbecues. A club darts team also competes during the winter months. Contact the secretary for information about joining or visiting.
