About the Club

Broadstone Wessex Bowling Club plays at the Dunyeats Road green opened by its Wessex predecessor in 1930. The men’s and ladies’ clubs joined in 2010. It has one outdoor grass green for April-to-September play and offers short-mat bowls in winter. Newcomers can try bowls with trained coaches and loan equipment; non-members can book roll-ups, and touring teams are welcome. The traditional clubhouse has a bar and catering for visiting sides. Outdoor opening times vary by day and are subject to weather and daylight; check the club before visiting.
