Broomfield Bowls Club

Broomfield Bowls Club has played in Palmers Green since 1952. Reached from Hedge Lane near the New River bridge, it has one six-rink outdoor grass green and welcomes both competitive and social bowlers. Members enjoy club roll-ups, friendly fixtures, internal competitions and matches against other local clubs. New players can arrange introductory lessons, with equipment provided for a trial session; flat-soled shoes are needed. The clubhouse bar provides a place to meet after a game, and social activities continue through the winter. The outdoor season normally runs from late April to mid-September.
