Bury Lodge Bowls Club

Bury Lodge Bowls Club plays in Bury Lodge Park on Bury Street West, Edmonton, welcoming complete beginners alongside experienced county players. New bowlers receive the necessary equipment, apart from shoes, and at least six introductory coaching sessions. Smooth, flat-soled footwear protects the outdoor grass green, and casual clothing is welcome for general club play. The summer programme combines internal competitions, social games and matches against other clubs, with county and national events also available. Full, senior and social memberships support different levels of involvement, while clubhouse activities continue through winter. Visitors can enquire through the club website about trying the game without obligation.
