About the Club

Chardstock Bowling Club was established in 1957 on the site of an old quarry near Chardstock village in Devon. It offers outdoor bowls on a five-rink grass green, normally used from mid-April to mid-September. Players of all ages and levels of experience can take part in roll-ups, internal competitions, league matches and friendlies against other clubs. Beginners can arrange free taster sessions with qualified club coaches and borrow the equipment they need. The club is affiliated to Bowls Devon and Bowls England, and parking is available at the ground. Its winter indoor friendly matches take place at other clubs.
