About the Club

Danbury Bowls Club welcomes new and experienced players to its six-rink green at Lower Field on Mayes Lane. Founded in 1932, it moved to its current ground in 1977. Qualified coaches provide instruction and training, while members can enjoy club afternoons, friendly matches, league bowling and competitions. The clubhouse has a licensed bar, with changing rooms in a separate building. Social members are welcome, and events continue through the closed season. Winter visits to local indoor clubs provide further opportunities for members to play together. Parking is available at Mayes Lane, with clubhouse vehicle registration required for stays over two hours or beyond 10pm.
