Dunnington Bowling Club

Dunnington Bowling Club is based at Dunnington Sports Club on Common Road, with one outdoor grass green and a bowls pavilion. It welcomes beginners and experienced players for social roll-ups, friendly matches, club competitions and league bowling, with teams for ladies, men, mixed groups and veterans. New bowlers are offered coaching and can borrow bowls and other playing equipment; smooth-soled footwear is required. The season normally runs from mid-April to mid-September, with introductory taster sessions early in the season. Members can also use the shared sports-club bar. Bowls enquiries can be made directly to club secretary Jon Davies.
