Hallamshire Proprietary Bowling Club

Hallamshire Proprietary Bowling Club is a private members' club on Hands Road in Crookes, Sheffield, established in 1863. Crown green bowling is a central part of club life, with annual competitions for members and teams playing in several Sheffield leagues throughout the week. Members are encouraged to try bowls regardless of their experience or ability. Away from the green, the clubhouse offers three full-size snooker tables, a licensed bar and a programme of social events. Anyone interested in membership should contact the club directly, and members can find information about the bowling season on the clubhouse noticeboard.
