About the Club

Harpenden Bowls Club was founded in 1908 and plays outdoor lawn bowls behind the houses on Spenser Road. It welcomes beginners and experienced players, with qualified coaches, friendly matches, social roll-ups and opportunities for club, district and county competition. During the winter the clubhouse is used for short mat bowls, social events and indoor games nights. The clubhouse has a bar, and limited parking is available on site. Contact the club for current membership, coaching and visiting arrangements.
