About the Club

Harperbury Bowls Club is a mixed community club on the former Harperbury Hospital site between Radlett and Shenley. Established in 1955, it has a six-rink outdoor grass green for roll-ups, friendly matches and district, county and national competitions. Qualified coaches offer free sessions, and spare bowls are available for newcomers to try the game. The club welcomes juniors and disabled bowlers, with easy green access and a specially adapted motorised bowls wheelchair. Members also enjoy a licensed bar, winter whist and quizzes, organised walks and trips. Access is through the Harperbury Park development, with a club car park.
