About the Club

Haughley Playing Field Bowls Club was founded in 1920 and has played beside the Ron Crascall Pavilion since the late 1930s. Outdoor bowling runs from April to September, with friendly roll-ups, local league matches and club and county competitions. In winter the club also offers short mat and carpet bowls in the pavilion. Newcomers can arrange a free taster session, with equipment supplied and members available to explain the game. Players need flat shoes. The club welcomes all ages and experience levels, and parking is available beside the pavilion.
