About the Club

Hemel Hempstead Bowls Club is a mixed outdoor club beside the Old High Street in Gadebridge Park. Officially founded in 1920, it welcomes bowlers of all ages and abilities for friendly matches, club competitions and district and county games. The club has two grass greens, including one used by beginners, with coaching and buddy support for new members. Its pavilion has a licensed bar and hosts year-round bridge, lessons, quizzes, bingo and other social evenings. A gated car park is reached from Queensway. Contact the club to arrange a visit or ask about trying bowls.
