Its history began in 1910 as the Garden Bowling Club, and the club has used the Wallfields green since 1953. The mixed club offers a summer programme of friendly and competitive matches, league fixtures, roll-ups and internal competitions. New bowlers can arrange a visit and receive guidance from experienced players and the club coach. Winter activities include social evenings at Wallfields and occasional indoor away matches.
