About the Club

Holtwhites Bowls Club began as a railway bowls section in 1915 and is now part of Holtwhites Sports and Social Club in Enfield. Its outdoor grass green is reached from Kirkland Drive, off Holtwhites Hill. Members enjoy regular roll-ups, internal competitions, friendly matches with other clubs and association competitions. New bowlers can borrow bowls for taster sessions and while deciding whether to buy their own; flat-soled shoes are required. The bowls clubhouse has a lounge, kitchen, drinks bar and changing rooms, with a patio overlooking the green. Social lunches, quizzes, bridge and talks complement the bowling programme.
